Why would Calzaghe give Roy a chance for a last big payday, when Roy wouldn't do the same for Cal back when Roy was dominant? This fight will not happen because Roy not a major player anymore. He's washed up and not the same without the roids.

        hahahahahahahahhahahahaha. Was that a joke?

Calzaghe will never be anywhere near the draw Jones is.

why do people post these videos they are biased towards a particualr fighter the best clip/Highlights of a certain fighter

im a football fan aswell as a Boxing fan and i have seen my team sign player after player & when u watch them on youtube clips for the fisrt time to get an idea of a player they can look awsome but in reallity they can be very average

go on youtube and find a video that is biased towards a fighter and even the most average fighter will look good ,im not calling RJJ average im just talking about youtube videos in general

For those saying Jones ducked Calzaghe years ago (an absolutely ABSURD comment), just remember that the next time Calzaghe fights in the US will be THE FIRST. Just remember that if Jeff Lacy and Mikkel Kessler hasn't agreed to fly to Wales, Joe Calzaghe would be no different than Sven Ottke.

Joe Cal deserves to be considered the best SMW of all-time and also one of the top 3 fighters in the sport today. Bottom line. Would he have beaten Jones in his prime? Probably not. As he mentioned to a ********* reporter following Jones-Ruiz, "I never really wanted to fight Roy Jones anyway." Of course, right after the first Tarver bout, he said, "he finally looked human." Funny how quickly we forget. I will say this though, Joe C. has an opportunity to create quite a legacy for himself. Hopkins, Dawson, and many others are still out there. Should be interesting...

Calzaghe is a good fighter but at 168 Jones was on a different level in his prime. Jones beats him by UD.

You have to favour JOnes here. But peak Calzaghe will out work him to a few rounds, and I think that Joe has a very serious chnace over 15, as opposed to 12.
