    Calzaghe does'nt need Hopkins

Hopkins is old and Joe would'nt get any credit as usual anyway. Calzaghe should fight the winner of Pavlik/Taylor II and retire undefeated, fighting another young and undefeated prospect. He can face Hopkins if he wants too though but he will still get a good payday against the winner of Pav/Taylor II. Calzaghe is the #1 Super middleweight of all time though and if he beats Hopkins at Light heavyweight and beats Dawson after that his rank increases at Light heavyweight as well. Damn he has got 12 months and I can see him fighting three more times as he usually fights three times every 12 months.

Neither guy needs the other guy. They could both retire pretty happily. That's why they WILL fight. Because most fighters LOOOOOVE having one too many fights.

And when will Taylor/Pavlik II happen? How long will Joe have to wait for it?

Hopkins/Calzaghe can be set up much quicker if Hop wants it as much as Joe. But of course, Hop will not doubt refuse 50/50 split and use it as an excuse to back down.

You NEED a dictionary to help you spell DOESN'T correctly, lol just busting your chops budd. I agree though Hopkins needs Cal more than Cal nees him because beating Hopkins won't get Cal as much credit as he would get for beating other guys. He has 3 fights next year and NONE OF THEM better be tune ups.

He should fight hops, if he wins that fight, and he can, then he is a 2 weight undisputed champ.

Err...Taylor/Pavlik is on 16th Feb. Right now is November....Calzaghe fights 3 times a year and he has said in 12 months he would retire, which would be November 2008 or possibly December 2008, end of the year.

                    So...

                    April 2008 - Winner of Pavlik/Taylor
                    Aug 2008 - Bernard Hopkins
                    Nov 2008 - Dawson/Woods/RJJ/ - Any of the three

and then Retire undefeated after Nov 2008 at the Age of 36, Legacy and Millions
