    Kessler should have thrown more!!!

I know its easy to say and hard to do... but god damn everytime Kessler was aggressive and threw some punches he looked great against Joe. I wish he would have fought every round like he did the 12th. All i kept yelling the whole fight was for Kessler to THROW! No chance of winning if dont throw punches.

He DEFINETLY should have thrown more, but like msagrain said, its easier said then done.

He seemed tentative the whole night, and im willing to bet its because Calzaghe hits pretty hard...

What would happen is that with every bit of success Kessler had Joe would turn it around and land some counters. Add to that Kessler just not being a volume puncher, he ran out of energy quickly. He would often punch hard and effectively for the first half of the round then Calzaghe would hammer him for the rest of the round and win it.

Kessler did not let me down last night. He's still very fun to watch, just couldn't land his crisp punches on that octupus-like Joe Calzaghe. Like it has been said, Calzaghe's style is to spoil other fighter's styles and I kind of knew in the back of my mind that he would spoil Kessler's style. Kessler has nothing to be ashamed of though, he won a few rounds and was never in any serious danger. He's leagues better than that bum Jeff Lacey who let himself get all spanked-up like that.

he should of but joe's power is better than what people make out which i think made him a bit cautious
