As long as Kessler isn't discouraged mentally or try to change things, I think he can continue to dominate Super Middleweight...

then again, anything can happen in Boxing...

-Jones Jr wasn't supposed to lose to anyone below 200lbs after Ruiz...
-Ricky Hatton wasn't supposed to even compete with Tszyu
-Taylor competed for 36 rounds vs two great technical fighters
-Peter wasn't supposed to be able to be hurt.

Kessler just got much better from this loss, I think he will be much better for his next fight.

Exactly, he got a lesson from one of the best but it will only serve him well.

He will come back much better, he didnt take the kind of beating that Lacy did and will go on to dominate (maybe he should beat down Lacy as well in a nice easy return to the ring)

What now? He relocates to find his ball's and brains....As strong as he is he needs to find his heart and brains as a fighter. He could have picked this guy apart with power shots, not boxing, but power shots if he wasn't so easily discouraged.

Bute's pretty good, so I wouldnt say Kessler is a lock to clean out the division. Kessler has a lengthy and succesful career ahead of him though no doubt. He was impressive even in defeat.

After a quick warmup fight against a lesser opponent I think he should either fight Froch or Bute. Then he can hope Pavlik and/or Taylor move to SMW for a major fight. I'd take Kessler over either of them right now and if that were to happen he could still become and international boxing star. Hopefully he learns from this loss and gets better.
