I thought he gave everything he had in the 10th round. I didn't think he would last out the fight after that effort, but he dug down and gave more. The guy has a big heart, you cant take that away from him. The way he finished out the fight in the 12th round was simply an incredible display of grit and determination.

I also gained a lot of respect for Kessler when he admitted he had been hurt by that body shot.

I'll certainly be cheering on Kessler in his future fights. He done himself proud tonight and I am sure he will go on to have a very successful career.

Not a bad fight at all. Kessler gained my respect as a man when he admitted he was hurt when the ref took a quick time out. I'd rather see Calzaghe vs Pavlik instead of Hopkins. If Hopkins loses there's always the excuse he was too old, can't say that about Pavlik.

have to agree kessler was a hell of a fighter, no doubt there is more to come from him so many potential fights @ 168 now wiv the move up of miranda, taylor, pavlik also not forgetting lucien bute (and the winner of the contender LOOOOOOL)

Kessler gained a lot of respect from everyone, but will he gain any knowledge from the fight? He has a LOT of flaws that need to be corrected for him to be dominant, but his head and heart are in the right place. Perhaps a different trainer would help cuz I didn't see him getting much useful advice from the corner, but of course we don't hear everthing.

yep. Other fighters woudn't admit getting hurt in a fight

                  True Class

same with Joe he showed class by admitting he got hit with some good shots.

Kessler is still dangerous IMO. Yea he lost, but he put up a good fight. The way he fought today, he probaly and most likely would've beat anyone in the division. Joe made him miss ALOT.

Good fight though. It was entertaining. Pure skill in the ring.
