For a guy that loves Floyd for his boxing/running skills, it's ironic (almost hypocritical) to downgrade Cal after that fight. That was a beautiful display of boxing. AND, you can rest assured Dios, Joe Calzaghe is an ATG.

Mozza come on, name 3 good or even average opponents Kessler beat. I want to see how many americans know them. Start naming. To be the best, you gotta beat the best. Calzaghe hasnt.

Dios, with all of the reasoning with emotions, Id forgive one for mistaking you for a woman...

That fact is, Kessler was GOOD. He fought very WELL. He LOST... to the better man.

Trying to downgrade his performance by calling Kessler a nobody is just absurd.

However, I did see signs of age from Calzaghe. Not in his abilities, but in his work rate. He really seemed to struggle to keep up his usual work rate tonight. At the ends of each round, I could see his punches slowing down, I could tell his shoulders were burning, and he was looking winded.

I think he should take the Hopkins fight, then call it a career.

I will admit that Mayweather did beat Henry Bruseles more convincingly than Joe did with Mikkel Kessler, yeah.

Calzaghe has fought as many top fighters as Mayweather and I am not prepared to get into debates about Kessler's opponents because what Americans don't know about his opponents says more about their ignorance and arrogance than it does about anything else.
