Yeah, I wasn't accusing you of saying that it wasn't impressive. I knew the resume comment was coming. Too many prospects that didn't pan out.

Seriously, would anyone have thought that Roy's resume was better had he stomped Antonio Tarver and Glen Johnson in his first fight against each? **** no, because Tarver would have been another Richard Hall, a prospect who didn't pan out, and Johnson would have been a 10 loss piece of ****.

Ask Roy and Floyd who they love to watch and both of them say JMM. Coincidence? The most underrated fighter of this generation.
I've got JMM in my personal top ten p4p.

That's being too cynical IMO. I wouldn't say that. I'm talking about the nine years before Tarver. I wasted alot of money to watch the incredibly talented RJJ beat up ****bags. I can't help it if this sticks in my craw.

Julio Cesar Gonzalez, Clinton Woods and Montell Griffin were all pretty good.

Shall I post his entire record of those nine years, or will you give me a nod of credibility on this one point?

I forgot how much of a fan I was of Roy Jones back in the day. His second fight with Montel Griffin was a thing of beauty. And yeah, he didn't lose until 35 and had lost enough of his speed to get caught cleanly on the jaw. What pisses me off the most about Mayweather is I think he has the tools to be as exciting as Roy was.

this is off topic but you really gota look at some of the names on his resume.. they were the top dogs at the time and had beaten good opposition.. Roy was just that dominating.. give credit where its due..

You're talking to a RJJ fan. Albeit a somewhat jaded one. RJJ stands accused of wasting alot of time pounding on ****bags during his prime. I know because I paid to see those friggin fights anyway! The business plan worked to perfection.
