Miranda is definently not the best at 168. He hasn't beat anybody for real there yet.

Miranda is ****, a poor man's mayorga at a heavier weight. He would get a beatdown every time he is gonna step up and his power is overrated too.
That's the comparison I always used when talking about that Pavlik hasn't beaten anyone... that one ****ed me in the ass later though.

Whatever, I can't imagine that a power would move up unless they absolutely had to. Either he had to dry out completely to make 160, or he has the dumbest ****ing management team in boxing.

Because he's big, Brook. It's common sense.

Yes it did. Boxing isn't always about who you've beat. If that was the case, we'd never have any rising stars.

            GO MIRANDA!
Yeah to be honest that fight with Pavlik was not the Miranda of now. He was seriously weight drained and was bascially dead before the fight even started. I think Miranda at 168 with time will be the monster he was first thought to be. If he takes his time he can become world champion but he needs to improve his boxing skills some before he tries to fight Pavlik again.

Weight drained or not Pavlik was gonna beat Miranda. Miranda can't fight going backwards. Pavlik slugged right along with him and then started sending Miranda back and Miranda was getting nailed.

Pavlik is overrated BTW just like Miranda was.

Watch Miranda walk into the ring against Pavlik. His head was down and he never raised his hands. Every other fight he is ****y as hell when he walks out. In Germany against Abraham he taunted the crowd, in Puerto Rico against Green he had the crowd on their feet cheering. In Memphis he looked dead. He had nothing in his shots. I remember the interview after the fight when he said 'I was against the ropes in the 2nd round and I knew I shouldnt be there. I wanted to move but my legs wouldnt go'.

No doubt Pavlik kicked his ass badly. Even at 100% I dont know if Miranda could have kept him away, but it would have been nice to see.
I hope he picks up a belt at 168lbs and faces Pavlik again. It would be a war!

Miranda is still a big Super Middle imo. He's almost identical to Bika in body structure. His back is wide and very muscular.

Miranda's left hook is a lot better now. I could tell he worked on it.

He rocked Porras with it several times.

Until Pavlik decides to step up to 168 and fancies an easy fight.
