I hope Calzaghe isn't blinded as much as his fans are. Kessler's style may look robotic but it's a style that many good fighters follow. And many good ones. Kesslers like a faster version of wlad, and fights similar to pavlik style. Come on joe, don't get ****** out there. Calzaghe is smart and so is Kessler

Whoa Hard Chaw! That's about all the Pavlik does and he breaks them down. Nothing wrong with the stand up classic style. What makes it effective is timing, and Kessler has an abundance of that.

Pavlik is a different fighter from kessler thou. You might think there style is are simlar but there skills and attributes are diffrant. Pavlik has more power and heart than Kessler, that can break down alot of fighters.
Cals handspeed will beat him to the punch every time. His footwork and volume of punching will put Kesslers timing off.

Yeah, I agree he might have more foot speed and hand speed that Pavlik. But not Cal (unless he has aged alot over night). Calz Is a southy which Kessler will have trouble with.
Pavlik makes his style more effeive by thuding in the body shot. Kessler doesnt allways do this and just rely on the same combo's. Which is ok for b-level fighter's, but any a-level boxer with a brain and experience will telegraph it.

Well I happen to agree that Calzaghe will win....I just think it's a much closer contest than you do. What is surprising though is that Kess and Cal have the same reach. This is interesting and I expected Kessler to have an advantage here.

But Eubanks only fought 2 more fights after that and lost them both, Calzaghe caught an old Eubanks just like he cauight a young Lacy... I wont take anything away from him for winning both those fights but Kessler is in his prime! And KDing him aint got **** on KOing him! Also to show you how unpowerful Joe is he KD Eubanks in the 1st and didnt again the whole fight!
