    Jeff Lacy v Peter Manfredo

" Although it hasn't been officially announced, Golden Boy has finalized the Dec. 8 Floyd Mayweather-Ricky Hatton HBO PPV undercard at the MGM Grand. In the co-feature, ex-super middleweight titleholder Jeff Lacy (22-1, 17 KOs), coming off serious shoulder surgery and a year off, returns to face first-season "Contender" star Peter Manfredo (28-4, 13 KOs) in a 10-round battle of Joe Calzaghe victims."

Two different levels of fighters. Lacy has proven that he's up there, B+ or A- minus fighter. Manfredo, if anything, has continuosly proven that he's unable to transcend that "regional star" label. Manfredo can beat the Jeff Frazas and the Joey Spinas of the world, but will never beat a next level guy.

      Lacy TKO9

thats dumb who ever is voting for manfredo by decision. Lacy can outpoint Manfredo easily or ko him. It doesn't matter. Lacy can give manfredo a 12 round boxing lesson, or an early ko. depends on how much of a ***** Manfredo wants to be. He'll probably do the same **** he did in the Calzaghe/Manfredo fight and land next to no punches... Little *****

Lacy hasn't beaten an A level guy, but I thought he had A level potential, had he gotten over that hump. He plateaued out with guys Vanderpool, Sheika, and Robin Reid, but that's a class that Manfredo doesn't do well with. Two of three of them Lacy was able to KO, which while not the stuff of Calzaghe or Kessler, is impressive.
