I think it's very good to have Max on HBO, he is as unbiased as they get, he calls **** down the line and no one can argue his knowldge of the game, he paid his dues for many many years announcing since he was in his early 20's and maybe even younger on public access shows and radio, at 34 it's only fitting that he get's a shot at something like this..
also I feel good when I see nice things happen for him because he lost his brother at the hands of a fighter, a fighter whom is now doing a **** load of time, he lost his brother Sam Kellerman in a brutal way and was distraught by it, he maintained his professionalism and VERY soon after the loss he still appeared publicly and did his job putting his feelings aside, the guy deserves the job, his work ethic since that day has been flawless to me because the fact that he can hold a straight face so soon after losing someone so close to him means he's heart strong about his job.. 100
