    The Greatest Super-Middleweights in History

A lot of boxing insiders always belittle the different weight classes and although I am vehemently opposed to more than one champion per division I support the existence of the numerous weight categories. Even though the 168-pound division was founded in the early 80’s, since that time its historical importance has increased substantially and the division has gone from being a wasteland for non-talented and used-up Middleweights to being one of boxing’s most exciting and intriguing divisions. 168 was Toney's best weight. If only he had more work ethic outside of the ring. Man he was brilliant at that weight when he was in tip top shape.

Sven Ottke shouldn't be on that list... his record is cheat. Alot of boxers got cheated against him.

LMFAO, you mean the guy who ducked Calzaghe because he thought he was too hungry and dangerous. RJJ is the most overrated fighter of all time.

Joe Calzaghe is hands down the best Super Middleweight, END OF THREAD

I thought he beat the majority of his big names at 160, not 168. I don't know almost anything about Toney's career though, so you are probably right.

roy dominated the SMW so bad that he was forced to go up to Lt Heavy.

please dont tell me that roy ducked Joe C that really shows ones lack of facts.

at SMW roy destroyed everyone he got into the ring with. especially a #1p4p at the time fighter who was undefeated........ a prime prime james toney.

both rjj and james toney would murder joe c.
