The data collected suggests Hatton is capable of landing a right-handed punch with around 400Kg - nearly half a tonne - of instantaneous force behind it.

That's ten times more force than an average person with no boxing expertise is capable of generating.

who is hatton sparring with that has a defense style similar to mayweather? And whos to say Mayweather won't change up his style for this fight. Some boxers are so good that they can change their styles up

From what i have seen, Hatton is the stonger man. Floyd doesnt punch to hurt his opponent. He punches to score points, so its hard to tell if he's really strong or not.

Cmon, Look at Floyd-Gatti. Floyd must've hit Gatti with about 60 solid, flush shots and still couldnt drop him. He even caught Gatti with a unexpected punch when Gatti was complaining to the ref at the end of i forget which round, and didnt drop him. Listen, there's alot of things that Floyd is, but a strong power puncher isnt one of them.

Strength and Punching power are two completely different things.

I find it hard to believe that Ricky Fatton, who never visits the gym between fights, is stronger than Floyd Mayweather, who is in the gym every day of his life.

Hatton still hits harder, but is he stronger? No. I don't think so.

There are two problems with your argument.

1. Punching power has little bearing on strength.

2. Knowing the exact numbers on the force Hatton is capable of delivering is meaningless without matching test results from Mayweather.

For all we know Floyd might beat Hattons numbers in the same test (I doubt it), so presenting only one set of numbers is meaningless.
