Haton/Mayweather winner is up in the air because of Oscar. If it werent for him then it'd be obvious. Until then there's nothing wrong with fighting Margarito.

No way in hell a win over Johnson gets Margarito back to #1 stunna status in the 147 division.

Mayweather-Hatton winner should obviously be first in line for the winner of Cotto-Mosley.

I think Margarito is probably going to have to sit this round out, to be honest.

Williams-Cintron winner will probably fight the winner of Collazo-Clottey.

It sucks for Margarito that there are 9 big names at 147, and he is the odd man out, but what is he going to do? He should beat a few prospects and just wait out a big fight.
      TRUTH!.....

If mayweather hasn't ducked Hatton why would he duck Cotto... were not even sure that Cotto will beat Shane.

Yeah, then he beats up all these prospects AGAIN and people like you say, "who has he beat?"

Yeah... that is the problem with beating prospects... they lose their prospect status after it happens. But seriously, a loss to Williams is all rectified by a win over this Golden Johnson 7 loss guy, come on. He has to work his way back up... that's how it works for pretty much every big name that loses, unless they wrote a rematch clause, which Margarito obviously did not.

Is that why there are so many fiercely debated threads about Mayweather and Hatton's fight in December, or am I missing something?

A lot of people are picking Hatton.

What about Cotto? His biggest test was Judah, who Mayweather fought as well... how can you talk about weak opposition when you are a Cotto fan?

cotto opponents may not be the best but he beats them convincely and deform most of them plus a mosley fight is way harder than a hatton fight specially for cotto
of course assuming cotto wins wich im extremely certain of

Mosley is a good fight, and it will answer a lot of questions.

I'm glad you are certain that a pick'em fight is going to be a thorough domination... it just puts a lot of pressure on your pick, because now Mosley has to be battered to death for you to be right.
