At this stage there's no way of telling though, sadly. Froch LOOKS as if he might be legit, or at least contender level on a par with Lacy, and he's a better technician (who isn't?) albeit unorthodox, but... I don't know. His bout against Robin Reid this month will tell us a bit more. I said a BIT, cos Reid is shot (though was against Lacy, too, so it'll be a REASONABLE indication).

I have heard that Froch is an animal. I wonder if Lacy is damaged goods now too. If Froch is as good as a lot of people have made him out to be then he's going to be a major player at 168 and 175.

He LOOKS the part, but then Jeff Lacy looked pretty **** hot beating up an old Robin Reid and a shot Sandman who only turned up for the payday. Time will tell.

I believe that Froch would have beaten the unconfident, shoulder damaged version of Lacy that turned up last time out.
