And who said Floyd's prime is at 147???

Floyd's prime was at 130 where he was fast and more explosive and had more punching power.

Now because he is fighting bigger and stronger opponents he has been more defensive. But that's what keeps him winning. Corrales was a monsterous puncher at 130 and 135 but once he moved up to 147 he was doomed. He was all power and no dimensions. Castillo same thing.....looked weak against Hatton and he has more punching power then Floyd.

Floyd's a hell of a lot more precise with his punches.

Why is Floyd always held to a different standard, he started at super featherweight for crying out loud, fighting Winky should never happen, Mosely is bigger than Floyd who is closer to 5'7 than 5'8. Nobody ever asks Hatton to face these much bigger guys who started at 140 even bigger than Floyd. Just admit it haters you just want to see Floyd lose but it aint happening.

Floyd is a little faster, and is a lot better defensively, especially with that shoulder roll crap. But seriously, he's a *****.

Mosley, on the other hand, is A LOT stronger, has more power (his power isn't as big at 147 as it was at 135 though), and almost as fast. But he is a lot stiffer then he used to be.

I'd bet everything I own that Floyd would get a wide decision over Mosley if they ever fight. Mosley is not nearly as fast as he once was, he's stiff, has a ****ty jab and a giant head. He's basically a conventional version of Zab Judah style-wise. He paws with his jab looking to land the straight right (left for Judah); fast hands but unimpressive footwork and less than stellar defense. He may be able to overcome Cotto, but Floyd would school him.

Go ahead with the name-calling, but be ready to put your money where your mouth is if this ever goes down.

some of you guys are forgetting that mosley's trouble has been with real technical boxers.

hard to tell, but they are both probably equal in hand speed. i don't think floyd is necessarily smarter, just more defense minded and cautious. i think floyd would win a decion, possibly ud.

both in their primes at 135, though, is another story. mosley was the best lightweight i've ever seen (of my lifetime. not the best lw ever, but definitely up towards the top.) dude was a phenom.

Floyd would UD Vargas, Shane doesnt have the legs Floyd does thats why he has to stand and trade, he wouldnt be able to move all night long without being gassed. People criticize Floyd, but if a boxer could do what he does they would. Must be nice to be the highest paid and get hit the least.

Floyd is more technical and accurate. Shane is wild as **** but still very good.
