I've heard of guys in life whom are as close to their mother as Floyd is. He's had bad relationships and thinks his mom is the only woman he needs in his life. So he bought her a ring to show her how much he values her friendship/guidance.

Don't get it twisted, I've seen many real men do **** like this before and it's not like they're ****ing their mothers. It's basically his way of saying that his mother is the best of the bunch.

Pretty disrespectful thread. If I could find a woman as good as the one my pops found I'd have married her instead of the dumb ***** that I actually did get married to (and divorced from.)

I don't see the problem here. Unless its just a dumb, unfunny joke, in which case you're being disrepectful to some old woman that you never met. Is that the kinda **** that passes for humor wherever you're from?

when roy jones got KO'ed, i dont think i was the same for about a week. i dont think i had been that dissapointed since the giants lost the world series in 02.

because of roy, someone like floyd getting KO'd wouldnt suprise me like roy jones, with jones it was a shock, it was worse than tyson who just took a beating, jones was flattened, jones changed my boxing psyche forever man.

Did the second time against Johnson make you want to kill yourself?

Na, by then id already seen the truama, when you got through dramatic **** like that, and you see it again, the shock isnt there, but the pain persists, sometimes i wake up in cold sweats with "yall musta forgot" echoing in my head

My bad. I ended my last post with a question mark, which seems to have indicated to you that I was looking for a response of some kind.

I wasn't. I should've been clearer. The question was rhetorical. You are not funny.

You should learn to show some respect, you wouldn't want some random jackass disrespecting your mom for laughs(??) on a boxing forum somewhere, I'm sure.
