Not much training to be fair but it does give an insight into his mindset and thought process about his career.

He's just an average decent bloke, hence he still lives in his village etc.

I would like to see him fight his last couple (win or lose against Kessler) in the States just so he can make his money before he retires.

I think that's why he hasn't really had the fame and adulation that he deserves, he is content to live in Welsh Valley's and couldn't care less really what people think of him.

There is no doubt in my mind that he is one of the greatest boxers of his generation and I would put him in the class of Hopkins, Jones and Mayweather. That's my opinion.

To take the Lacy and Kessler fights tells me different though, Lacy as Joe said was easy but it didn't look that way before the fight and Kessler will be tricky no doubt.

I feel it would have been easier for Joe to have taken say a lucrative Roy Jones fight or perhaps a Hopkins, as a loss to either of those would have only proven what some thought whereas many expect him to beat the dangerous Kessler but....this shows desire to me, desire to claim the division and fight the prime champion about.

For Joe to be classed as one of the greats he will have to beat Kessler and move up and probably beat Hopkins even though it will then be said that Hopkins is shot. So he probably cannot win.
