And Hatton weighed 149 in the ring against Castillo in a fight that was scheduled for the 140 pound division, while Floyd weighed 148 in a fight that was scheduled for the 154 division. In this case the contracted weight means absolutely nothing.

        You've failed to discredit Floyd once again.

            Hatton would have to be a moron to give up his rather substantial power advantage over mayweather by allowing him to build up muscle and power to the full welterweight limit while Hatton frets about loss of speed. The fact of the matter is, weigh-in weights matter.

                If the contracted weight means nothing, why didn't the fight take place at 140? Are you saying Hatton chose 147 over 130?

                      YES he did, he wanted the fight, he said he would fight him at 147, he just wanted the fight to happen so he did what he had to do to get it, and that is moveing up in weight. damn your an idiot. what part dont you get? when you challenge you cant make demands.
