The problem with Pacquiao is that he always has to knock you down before he gets the judges attention. His punches are deceptively powerful, and the only way a judge can know its effect is by seeing a man go down, so if he doesnt, Pac loses.
That doesn't make any sense. 'Cause like you said, it really doesn't matter who is the harder puncher unless his opponent IS getting his ass dropped from those harder punches. The fact still stands that Morales controlled the majority of the rounds with his boxing and won the fight.

If what you're saying is true, then how did the judges give the decision to Pac against Barrera if he never knocked him down? You don't have to drop someone to get the judge's attention. Just control the rounds, land shots and keep your opponent at bay more than he does to you.

I scored the first fight 115-113 for Morales and would've scored it 116-112 had he not got all macho and switched southpaw in the 12th.

The 2nd Barrera fight was an exception because EVERYONE knew that Pacquiao ****d Barrera in the first fight. Had this been Joan Guzman or Humberto Soto and Pac never KDd them, chances are they'd decide against Pac's favor. Pac's punches are deceptive like Pavlik's you know. YOU ONLY REALIZE THEIR STRENGTH ONCE THE OPPONENTS FALL DOWN. Unlike Mayweather's punches that seem dramatic when in reality they don't hurt.

I see what you're saying about his punches, but still, if I'm in there with a bigger puncher than me and I can take his best shots, while landing plenty of my own (even if they're not as hard) and control the majority of the rounds, I deserve to win. You know?

Well, ring generalship has always been a very subjective criteria in boxing. I definitely can see how Morales won it. But a draw or even a close SD for Pac wouldnt be too far-fetched either.
