A fine and pretty damn accurate choice, though he had quite a few great performances in the prime of his career, such as ones against Hamsho, Hamani, Caveman Lee, etc.

Sibson was probably his best performance though, though I have to say I love watching him dispose of Hamani. Picture perfect performance and finish.

1977. His counters were at their sharpest and hardest then.

LOL, that's like saying Duran was at his best against Buchanan, or Whitaker was at his best against Layne or Mayweather. Hagler was pre-prime in '77. Barely a belt-holder, and just off a win over Monroe who he'd lost to a year earlier. No way he was prime.
