Is that the fight where the ref told JMM he was ahead? Lederman had his ahead? I dont know about that.

I think it was referee Laurence Cole who was telling Marquez he was ahead at the time JMMs cut was being looked up. perhaps his way of signalling that had he wanted to decide to call it quits he would still win on the cards.

The Jaca-JMM fight was very good and competitive. Marquez probably could've made it easier for himself by boxing, but he chose to make it more exciting and mix it up! Which was good for all of us!

Now, if Jaca really only trained two weeks for this fight like someone on here claimed, that's his fault. 'Cause like another person said, this fight was originally suppose to be on that PPV card that ended up having Ponce de Leon-Seeger as the main event 'cause Jaca couldn't get something worked out with his work permit in time. Or something like that. I remember hearing that he was having a tough time making weight too, but there was definitely plenty of time for him to train.

Oh yeah, no doubt that we were all surprised by his performance. I think most were expecting him to get finished off quickly and him stepping up his game, along with Marquez being willing to trade made for a really exciting fight!
