The reason why so many Hatton fans are going to watch this in the US is because it is the BIG ONE.
The fight most fans dream about.
Their hero gets a crack at the best.
A lot of fans will have saved a long time for this moment.
It will cost an average £1000-£2000 ($2000-$4000)per person to do this which for a lot of people they don't have that kind of cash spare.
If the fight was being held over here in the UK they could have probably sold 60,000 tickets at Wembley perhaps more.
Money is another reason why Hatton fans have not attended his previous US fights.
Imagine the average person who goes to 4 fights has to probably fork out between £5,000-£10,000 ($10,000-$20,000) inclusive of Travel costs , tickets to the fights and then time off work to go as well.
This is why it is ridiculous to say "why didn't these other fights sell out".
How much will it cost an American to see the fight in Vegas??
