Calzaghe - Kessler. Exciting or boring?

Now that the fight is a few days away, do people think it will be as good as it is made out to be, or will we be disapointed?

I don't know - very good question. I think Kessler's dogged determination should make it very competitive BUT I could see it disappointing. Nonetheless, I got Calzaghe by decision.

I think it'll be mildly entertaining. No way it's FOTY though. That will be Cotto vs Mosley probably.

It would definitely be a PPV bout if one of these two fighters were American, especially given it's significance in unifying the division. Should definitely be a good fight, I'm just glad I have HBO and can watch it for free.

Here's what I think. I think it'll be a very good fight. I don't think it'll live up the the hype. Not the fighters fault though, I thik it's just been to built up in the minds of hardcore fans. It makes it difficult live up. However, in all honesty, I see myself being very entertained.

Either way, that fights on the same night as Marquez/Juarez.. I'm almost GARUANTEED a great fight on the 3rd. GREAT DAY for boxing.

I can't picture Joe Calzaghe in a boring fight, especially when there's so much at stake.

It'll be a great fight for all boxing fans.

I agree with you here, and agree with most of your predictions below...except Taylor beating Pavlik in the rematch, and I also have a funny feeling about Mayorga catching porcelain-chinned Vargas.
