wow this is great news if its true

I've always felt like Joe was on Warren's leash, a roaring rover desperate to be freed, too sympathetic to its master to leave him alone.

            Amen for freedom

Maybe now Joe can finally come to America.

Ricky Hatton is about to get a career best payday because he split up with Frank Warren. It's all up to Joe now if this is true.

Warren wouldn't let him to go to America, he had a hold over him until now

And Calzaghe is getting his biggest ever payday under Warren. What does that prove? It's rather naive of people saying this is 7 years too late - Calzaghe himself had no interest in leaving his home town especially when he was still with his wife and kids.

Good news for Calzaghe though as it should ensure an extra 25% into his retirement fund. I've long been surprised that the Enzo Calzaghe stable isn't self promoting.

well he wnats to make the most money from these 2 or 3 fights. he was with frank and became world champ in 1997 when boxing was not very popular in the uk. well by that i mean in 1995 the nigel benn and gerald mcclellan fight ended up with someone paralysed which lead to itv (main boxing tv broadcaster to stop showing boxing. considering we only have 5 terestial tv channles, anyone without sky would not see a fight at all. it was revied by the bbc in 2000 or so when audley harrison won a gold medal in the olympics, butt he was so **** as a pro i htink boxing was dead. amir khan kinda helping now really.

so yeah when joe was champ no one was into boxing and he wasnt known enough to go and get his own fights. i mean lennox, prince naz, hatton and even amir khan is more famous than joe in the uk. he just didnt get the fame, but then he wasnt someone to do anything ****** to get headlines either.

well if khan was then i doubt he would be aiming for a world title anytime soon. earl also seems a tough kid who can sort of punch. not a brilliant boxer, but definately a stepping stone for khan!
