I'm not a big Floyd fan, I'm a fan of boxing. Yeh I loved to watch Tyson, Diego Corrales, Mayorga, Miranda all great exciting sluggers and fighters. However, all of them were defeated by better BOXERs and I enjoyed watching the boxers dismantle them just as much. If you hate Floyd because he talks a lot of isht fine. If you don't like his style and you don't consider it entertaining fine. As a true fan of boxing you have to give him credit for his skill and achievements in the ring. All these threads that are simply hate threads with no real boxing facts in them and just hate, only serve to reduce the credibility of these boards. If you feel the need to start a thread criticizing a fighter that's all good but bring some boxing knowledge to the party calling someone a runner, coward, etc. only shows your ingorance. Anyone who gets in the ring let alone a 6 time world champion deserves that respect.

Ok, with that said, does he have a legitimate reason to complain when people criticize him for "talking the talk" but not "walking the walk" come fight time?

in the sport of boxing, not really because guys promise alot of **** all the time that doesnt happen. in sports like football/basketball etc, those are team sports in which the team name alone can do it all for you, but in boxing all you have is you and fake promises can generate alot because its up to YOU and YOu alone to do it.
