Will Taylor's career be over when he gets knocked out again by Pavlik ?

Jermain Taylor is a certified moron. What the **** is he thinking taking this fight with Pavlik so soon. Pavlik is gonna be even more comfortable at the higher weight and he will carry more power. Forget about that 2nd round in the first fight, Pavlik was being careless and he got hit with at least 20 flush shots and Taylor still couldn't put him away. Pavlik will tighten up his defense and he won't make that mistake again. Taylor has ****ty ass defense and he is a sitting duck for those right hand power shots from Pavlik. When Pavlik KO's Taylor again in 5 rounds what will Taylor do with his career ? A fighter is never the same when he gets knocked out cold twice and they usually call it quits sooner than later. In my opinion, Taylor should have gone straight to 168 and taken a tune up fight, then set up a fight with Edison Miranda because we all know they still have beef. Taylor is ruining his career with his dumbass decisions, but I don't really care because I am a Pavlik fan and I would love to see him knock Taylor out cold again.

I think after the fight he'll say something about going back home to regroup, and then after a while he'll have a comeback fight against some fringe-fringe-contender and win easy, then he'll step up a little against a fringe-contender, and then he'll fight another young, hardhitting guy and most likely get knocked out.

IF he gets knocked out by Pavlik, then yes, he will probably never show his face again.

That would be so funny if Taylor got knocked out again, then failed his drug test.

Nah two knockouts isn't too many. Fighters have recovered from that.

Yea maybe, but did you see how dramatic the first fight was? Taylor even had his hometown against him, which is pretty damn ****ed up. He was nervous throughout the whole fight, and then getting knocked out like that, proving everyone right that he was just an overrated hype is pretty hard to recover from. Now he wants to redeem himself, and if he loses again, IDK what is next for him.

He loves to box he won't retire from another KO. He will move on and hopefully can recover in some way from two KO losses, if that actually happens.
