Forrest amazes me, straight up. I picked the guy to win most of his fights, but I thought Mosley had his number and he proved me wrong. Most recently I picked him to beat Baldomir, but I had no idea that even at his age he would make it look so easy. The man was born to box, and I see no reason Vernon couldn't become another Hopkins.

I've seen fighters his age who couldn't establish a jab, let alone put together and land clean combos like that.

Yes... because it wouldn't just be a bad night. He seriously has no marks on his record for ever gassing out. That means something is leaving him if he gasses against Hatton.

Injuries derailed a career that could have been legendary. I seriously believe Vernon could have been one of the greats if not for a few of his set backs.

I Believe He Will Beat Hatton, but Not Before Hatton Makes Him Remember His Name.floyd's Skills Are Undeniable ,the Best Boxer In The World, but Anybody That Thinks That This **** Is Gonna Be Like Gatti Is A Fool Hatton Is Alot Quicker Than Gatti And He Will Throw[even If He Clinches Too Much]trust Me Floyd Will Come Out From This Fight With Something To Think About, while Mosley Or Cotto Sit At Home Quietly Waiting For The Call.

Their is big big chance guys, im hoping that he will knock hatton out which is very hard to do. Hatton can come forward 100mph every round and still not gas out. So i find it hard not to believe that floyd wont get tired as the fight goes on.

Amen to that. I think his injuries will keep him from continuing much longer in the sport, and I can see him retiring in another 2 years. It's sad because he's so talented, but I wish the man the best. I saw him once showing handicapped kids how to box, Forrest is a great human being as well as a great fighter.

Truth there. I'm just saying, with all this talk of how unbeatable Mayweather is, people often forget that sometimes, a fighter's body will give out on him first.

I think Floyd running out of gas is such a far stretch for the imagination because he's never relaly shown any signs of it yet. If Hatton's pressure eventually slows him up a bit, I'd just say it was due to the way Hatton was fighting him. He's have to look really bad before I'd say he gassed out, and even worse for me to say he's tanked.

Thread is completely misleading..."tank out" or "tanking" usually means "giving up on purpose/throwing the game"

You have a different definition than most then. Most people call intentionally giving up or throwing a game/fight "laying down". To tank out means you run out of gas. In this case, his body would be what could possibly tank out due to years of weight jumping and being at the top.
