Hatton: "Mayweather is Taking Me Lightly"

Undefeated Ricky Hatton (43-0, 31KOs), in a recent interview with Sky Sports 1, said that WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (38-0, 24KOs) is taking him lightly. Hatton challenges Mayweather for his title on Dec. 8 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. [details]

This boy sounds focused, determined, and super confident. Dont be surprised if Hatton pulls it off. He might be a little too much for Floyd to handle come Dec.8th.

This just Hatton's way of promoting the fight since he isn't really a **** talker. I think it will work to some degree because people are really going to want to know who is this 43-0 white boy who thinks he can really beat PBF. I have no problems with that.

Hopefully he does make this a fight where Floyd will have to pull out all stops. The type of fight that will be talked about for years to come and will help send both of these boxers into the stratosphere when it comes to their legacies.

Hatton has been talking entirely too much as of late.. It is actually annoying now as it has gotten more persistent than even Floyd. He's nervous and is hiding behind feigned confidence imo.

I don't think Floyd takes anyone lightly. For all his mouthing off he has quite a work ethic.

                    I don't think he's nervous at all.

Hatton really does believe he can pull this off. I just hope we see a good fight and I'm confident he'll give Floyd his toughest bout to date.
