Tszyu VS Forest

Here is a link of Tszyu vs Forest in the amateurs that I stumbled on in youtube.
Was surprised to know that they actually fought each other.
Tszyu seemed to dominate Forest convincingly, wonder how they would have gone in the pro's had they fought.

Few people remember or talk about it, but if you look at Tszyus record hes another fighter that was rushed as a pro. Imo, after the Vince Phillips fight he never had the same fire again, well actually he may have looked like the old Tszyu in his second fight with Mitchell. Don't know what happened in the Hatton fight, that was just an ugly fight.

I agree with you, he seemed to fight way less after the Phillips fight. I think he could of had a fight a couple of months after the Miguel Gonzalez fight, because at that time Tsyzu was the talk of boxing and everyone wanted a piece of him. There was talk of a "Quick" Gatti fight at the end of 99, but as we all know it never materialized.

Yep, Tszyu was a beast and Hatton made him quit, he dosen't get enough respect for that victory. I wish we could have seen Tszyu vs Mayweather.

hmm, well he had over 200 amateur fights, only losing a handful, so he was definitely ready to turn pro. Not sure how you wanted his pro career to pan out.
Whenever I see an elite fighter lose a fight, I always want to see a rematch.
Such as Vic losing to Donaire.
I would like to see the rematch to that.

And its funny, how mosley lost to Forrest and Winky.
Does he have trouble against taller guys?

i think if it was offered tszyu would still take this fight.

he hasnt officially retired and is waiting for the right offer...
