i was watching sportscenter and i heard NFL analyst tom jackson say that the upcoming game between the colts and patriots is the ali-frazier of football.. i was thinking, i wish they would talk more about boxing on espn.. there are so many great fights coming up this fall (i don't need to name all of them, i'm sure u guys know what fights i'm talking about), and it kind of upsets me that boxing doesn't get the recognition it deserves. boxing is a great sport, u see heart, determination, guts, skill, and all kinds of other aspects of the sport, plus u see 2 men in peak physical condition trying to beat the **** out of each other, haha.. honestly, i don't know how someone can't love this sport.. boxing deserves more respect, it's an outstanding sport.. i know one thing, even though boxing isn't one of the most popular sports right now, i will always love it, and i put boxing where it belongs: #1
boxing deserves more respect

Hell yes, boxing is number one. And it would even be better if it were cleaned up a bit. Unify the belts into one championship for starters. -
i agree with both u and the guy who made the analogy.
Colts-Patriots is probably the biggest season game you are ever likely to see. period.
Frazier-Ali is probably the biggest fight you are ever likely to see. period.
Obviosly, Frazier-Ali was a ****LOAD bigger then this football game, but its a good analogy.
Colts are a new dynasty. Defending their championship. Patriots are the sorta ex-dynasty trying to gain back their championship. Both undefeated. Its as good as football gets. Somebodies "0" has got to go.Comment

I do agree that boxing deserves more respect, but every time it's front of a Main stream audience it fails to deliver. Example DLH vs. Mayweather DLH vs. Tito. These where two of the biggest PPV's in history.Comment
