the big problem with Wlad is his losses. personally, I dont count them much against him, but lets face it...people arent impressed with losses. I mean, Lennox gets horrible amounts of **** because he got knocked out by Rahman and McCall, and both times he wasnt counted out either. and he avenged the losses extremely dramatically, brutalized Rahman.

Im afraid people are going to count it against Wlad also.

Yeah, he was counted out in the Rahman fight. He didn't make it to his feet in that fight. But you are right, Wlad needs to atleast avenge the Sanders loss.

I think a rematch with Sanders is ridiculous at this point. It's too far overdue IMO and even if he did fight him again and KTFO his ass, nobody would give a **** and would just say that Sanders was over the hill.

The only thing he can do is unify the titles which is what seems to be his main focus right now.

McCline fought Peter like he had nothing to lose... Wlad was fighting scared and very cautios as his Boxing Career was literally on the line.

BTW, McCline also dropped Byrd so don't underastimate his power

peter was clearly too heavy and out of shape for mccline. he was lighter and clearly tighter when he fought wlad

Vitali KO'd Sanders so that Wlad didn't have to. Clearly Sanders will never qualify for any kind of title shot at this point. All Wlad needs to do is hold on to his belt for another 4 or 5 years and he'll be fine, or unify a few of them.

Good read, Wlad is the man and when his career is all said and done he will go down as one of the greatest Heavyweights of all time.

wlad will go down as maybe a top 15 hw all-time.

he's a true champ unlike his overrated older quitter brother.
