    kessler vs pavlik at 168?

    Who would win?
i'd say pavlik. the reason i say this is simply pavliks power and size.
even at 168 he'd be a monster and his power would be even better, which would be a joke as possibly the hardest hitter in the world as it is.
I hope this fight comes off, if kessler can beat calzaghe and pavlik beats taylor.

i pick kessler. he has the skills to out box pavlik. Taylor could have beaten pavlik if he had kept his hands up and boxed smart. Kessler is better dicliplined than taylor and actually listens to his corner. so i'll say kessler by UD.

IMO Pavlik would suffer against the MK jab. I don't think Pavlik would get any faster at 168.

        I'd like to see it.

Love to see it, but I don't think Pavlik has the beard to take Kessler's jab and power shots all night. Also, Kessler isn't a one-dimensional fighter, especially not against a guy that has inferior skills. And in my opinion, Kelly has inferior skills. Pavlik has a punchers chance, but I see Kessler playing the Calzaghe roll, and Pavlik playing the Kessler role, and I pick the better skilled guy, overall, in both fights.

          Calzaghe. Lol.

I don't know how good Kessler's chin is at this point. If it's not rock, I say Pavlik knocks him out. Kessler is a square up boxer, just like Kelly. He doesn't go inside too often from what I've seen. I think that might be the way to beat Kelly, which is why I would pick Hopkins and Joey C to beat him. But I like his chances against Kessler's style. All it takes is one good right hand on Kessler's face, and he's in hot water. Kessler moves pretty well and keeps his hands high, which is great against Pavlik. I think Pavlik has an outstanding chin. That right hand that Taylor hurt him with landed on his temple, not his jaw. Miranda has a harder punch than Taylor, and Kelly took a lot of hard shots without wavering. Kessler doesn't have amazing power, I don't believe. It would be hard for him to knock Pavlik out, but he could win a decision. But with Pavlik's pressure style, he just might break Kessler mentally. I would have to go with Pavlik by KO against Kessler.
