well , i understand how tromatic it can be for a country who had never been bombed and never faced terrorism on a large scale .

plus those al quaeda guys , they were just warming up with 9/11 , no doubt . look at what they did in MADRID or in BALI , they killed so much young an innocent people. western worls is at war for survival , let s face it.

about irak , i just dont understand . saddam was a monster for sure , im happy hi sons are dead and that he is gonna be judged , but hey , most countries are ruled by violence. and USA helped monsters during the cold war (general PINOCHET in CHILE ).

it was 60 years ago . but the vichy government is , i agree , a national shame .

keep in mind that the GENERAL DE GAULLE fought the ****s and never surrended , and that a lot of french died fighting facism.

resuming recent french history to vichy would be like resuming USA ( which i do LOVE) to KKK.
