bloody boring fight but Byrd really didn't give it a red hot go

I think the surprising thing in this fight was people were surprised that Byrd lost!!! Byrd right now is doing like a lot of other fighters in the twilight of their career have done!!! Letting the media build them up and get a good payday for their retirement fund. Hasn't anyone seen how Byrd has slowed and has been inactive??? Hey it works when old fighters fight other old fighters, look how Hopkins and Tarver have built another post retirement career. Ray Jones has been shot for years but still commands big paydays because fans still think somehow he'll be great for just one more fight. Poor Holyfield has taken this to a new level and may end up sitting in a wheelchair drooling on himself unable to count all that money he made in his post prime career. Byrd will fight again at least twice, once against a tomato can then another big money fight before the fans hopefully wise up. A fighter who made his money because of his reflexes and not his punch just can't last as long .
