No hate, dog. Oscar was huge 7 years ago. But by the time he got to Floyd he was over the hill....it's just that simple. Oscar been beaten around. He's not the same Oscar. Floyd barely beat an old man. So, I take him out of the list. Clearly the best boxer Floyd has faced was Jose Luis Castillo in 2002. Chico's in their too because he did beat Castillo in that classic bout. Again, I cannot take anything away from Floyd at 130. But moving up he has not been dominant. Simple as that.

but this thread wasn't about how good they were when they faced Floyd it was just about TALENTED fighters he faced, you making it seem like since Oscar was past his prime days that he shouldn't be named when that isn't the case, the point is to just name talented fighters on Floyd's resume not to name only the ones in contrast to how good they were when they fought him.. like when William Joppy fought Duran, this guys original point was to name talented fighters on Floyd's resume so using Joppy as an example you COULD name Roberto Duran as 1 of the talented names on his list because it isn't about how much they had left when they fought him or how good they did it was based purely on the overall talent they had in their career's, their name overall.. so when you say "Oscar was huge 7 years ago. But by the time he got to Floyd he was over the hill....it's just that simple." you looking at how he did against Floyd but it isn't about how he did against Floyd it's about Oscar De La Hoya's overall list of achievements and who he is career wise.. when you put the disclaimer saying he wasn't talented because of how he was the night he faced Floyd you go against the whole point of this thread.. 100

This thread was about who is the most talented boxers Floyd has faced, that means implicitly the level of talent "he has faced." Oscar was great, but not anymore. You cannot bootstrap his greatness in the past to build up Floyd now. That was not the point of the thread.

Thats not the question, you asked what Exteremly talented fighter has PBF fought and he named them. Instead of clarifying them as the correct answer which they are because there THE FIGHTERS HE FOUGHT your trying now to compare them to who others have fought! When He beats Hatton, Cotto and Mosely will you discredit them to....? Sugar Ray didnt fight Thomas Hearnes til late in his career same with Hagler yet we deem him a great.. Floyd still has time to wait for LATE and fights with the likes of Cotto, Mosely, Williams, Cintron or whoever else he wants to fight are still on the horizon, so i would say at this point in his very fresh career Floyd has fougt just as good comp. as both Sugars had and whoever else you namedup until this point in his career!

The PBF haters will never be satisfied. Everytime PBF fights, he wins, people need to realise he is the real deal, after Hatton it will be someone else...you guys wont be happy unless he is fighting Klitscko for the heavyweight title. You haters jus wana see pbf beaten... THAT AINT GONNA HAPPEN with that white boy hatton

                    Are they extremly talented?
or did someone just tell you they were.
Todays fighters for the most part are stronger, faster and bigger then they were in the past.

Your post is a serious stretch.

Coming from the same guy who said Hatton fought a PRIME Jose Luis Castillo.
