    Hatton is so 1 dimensional

Let me begin by saying this is not because I don't like Hatton but he is a fighter who only seems to work on the inside and never on the outside.

The key to stopping this guy is to keep jabbing away at him from a distance, and keep him at bay.

It's funny how you never see him boxing at mid or long range.

I think Floyd should be able to capitilise on this .

lolll, ur funny, umm , yea well, the way I see it, the calibre of opponents he has been fighting is very low. Hatton is no Tyson, and there have been fighters who kept Tyson at bay such as Tillies and Douglas, and they're not exactly elite heavyweight fighters, but rather quite decent fighters with good jabs.

So I'm sure if those HW's can do it, so can the Jnr welterweights that Hatton is fighting.

At 5'6", without long arms, in todays boxing with taller and taller fighters, Hatton doesn't have much choice but to swarm in and fight on the inside.

Just because Hatton has a short reach doesn't mean he is one dimensional. If you're observing that Hatton is not an outside jab and move guy, then you are correct, but that doesn't mean he is one dimensional. Not by any means. He has very fast hand and foot speed and attacks from all angles. He can go elbow to elbow or move in and score and move out. He goes for both the head and body. He's as good as Mickey Ward was to the body.

A lame post. I'm not sure if it's the product of nuthuggery, a provocation, or just ignorance about Hatton.

Is Tyson the other boxer you have heard of? Seriously man, learn the sport.

I'm glad somebody here can reply with a rational answer, and not some pathetic insult.

I'm trying not to be disrespectful but it isn't easy. Hatton's style is built around overcoming jabbing outside fighters, and after 43 straight pro wins and 73 amateur wins it seems he's pretty effective with it.
