That fight was clear to score. The last 4 rounds were clear to score which were the deciding rounds.

Castillo/Mayweather 1, alot of deciding rounds were hard to score. Most Anti-Floyd's are quick to jump to that fight and use it as an example where FLoyd lost, that's fine.......it's their right.

Castillo/May 2, alot less action and alot easier to score the rounds Floyd was winning because he was winning them clearly.
Fair enough, I had Floyd clearly winning the De La Hoya fight, but then I pay more attention to punches LANDING than that one judge probably did. My problem with this fight is I saw 6 rounds that Castillo clearly won, 3 that Floyd clearly won, and only 3 to dispute. I would have been satisfied with a draw, Castillo would have kept his title (till the rematch) and Floyd would have remained undefeated.

    • That and it could be wear the judge was at Ringside. Depending on the angle, it could have been looking like he was landing them.

That's a good way to end it. Either way it's a disputed and close decision.

It was Winky/Taylor-esque close. That fight still gets debated.

          • Who cares about the compuhoax stats.

I will be forever convinced that Castillo won that fight.

Mayweather took him too easy. So did Arum who chose the opponent.

            • Most boxing writers had it for Floyd, the 3 judges had it for Floyd. End of thread!

              • Mostof the boxing writers that actually ATTENDED the fight had it for Castillo. Floyd at the time was an HBO house fighter...even HBO had it for Castillo.

On top of that most fans had it for Castillo.

                Castillo won that fight.

Wrong! Most of them had it for Floyd, I don't know where you get your info from, that is 100% wrong! Only the 3 stooges from HBO had it for Castillo.

Besides you hate Gayweather like 90% of this forum, so of course you guys will say he lost the fight.

                    • Nah. Your false.

Either way, we're both wrong anyway. Unless your willing to put up articles of about 10-15 writers that had it for Floyd.

                      Until then...stfu.
