        The hate from this particular thread is caused by the comparison to arguably the best middleweight of all time ( definently top 5 ) to a guy that will probabley not even make the list of the top 100 greatest welters.

        Margy is a solid fighter no doubt, he's good in every category but not great in anything. trust me, 10 years from now people will still be talking about marvin hagler, people will forever talk about marvin hagler. Margarito on the other hand will never be heard of.

              I can completely agree with you there, cintron is much more comparable to hearns than williams because of his power. But thats not what this topic is about so i didnt go into that, but you are correct my friend.

                i feel ya. if i were to compare marg against anyone from the past, it would be more like a jake lamotta. tough as nails, hard to knockdown, and just keeps coming.
