it's wards promoter who's calling for the fight.

this is worse than Trinidad-Reid, Edison Miranda's last fight was against the reigining Middleweight champion, true he wasn't champion yet but still he won the belts in his next fight.. Andre Ward is going to fight his fight bust I really don't see much he can do to compete with someone in the likes of Edison Miranda, Pavlik-Duddy is a better mismatch than this one because at least Duddy is an experienced kid who can **** back but Andre Ward-Edison Miranda? nah thas not fair for Ward, kid got a promising future, they putting too much on his plate because, lets go to mars for a second and say that Ward beats Miranda, the effort that he will have to expend will change his whole future, he will be so battle damaged that he wont be the same and not in a good way.. win or lose, Andre Ward has no business at this stage of his career with a reputed puncher in Edison Miranda.. 100

Ward's camp knows what their doing. Getting to the olympics is a tough task. Getting gold in the olympics is even tougher. Ward's trainer Virgil wouldnt suggest this fight if it wasnt possible to win. He's been very careful with Wards career. Personally I think its a hair to early, but if Ward's camp think he's ready... then he must be. If Ward avoids getting KO'd then I see him winning a decision.

I figured it was the other way around, being that Ward's star quality has diminished greatly since winning the gold medal and he has virtually fought no one and Berto whom is also from that olympic class, but not a medalist is increasingly being viewed as a top contender and future (near future) title holder, that Wards people want to pick a Marquee fighter, that they believe ward can outbox enroute to thrusting him back to the forefront in the boxing scene... Feel me?! But you know like I know anyone fighting these days with their hands down will surely get ko'd by the top fighters in any of the weight divisions...

Maybe it's just me but I was never too impressed with Miranda, I think Ward has a chance to beat him.

I think Miranda is very sloppy, but he can catch up to you at times and hurt you... I think Ward is too small ( not meaning height), but body stature to do anything above 154, I think he could go down to 147 and handle some business...

In my eye's Miranda shouldnt worry about Ward... who's Ward fought and beat that gives him the right too call out miranda.... for the mean time I reckon Miranda has bigger and better things to do than worry about ward....... Mirandas made a name for himself, I think Ward has too prove himself before his promoter starts calling out big names
