The Official Forrest vs. Piccirillo Thread

I have a couple of questions about it:

1. Is Piccirillo any good? He has a good win over Cory Spinks, but Showtime's analysts said that it was a robbery, which seems pretty powerful, considering they are supposed to remain relatively unbiased, because they could always pick up any fighter at any time.

2. Is there a risk that Forrest could be past it, and could just fall apart in this fight?

I'd like to hear people's thoughts on this.

I don't know why I bothered putting official in the thread title. I doubt anyone else makes a thread about this.

Vernon will look great in this fight, I don't really have the time right now to get into, I'll dig deeper later but as for my opinion I think Forrest will win by impressive fashion, his jab, speed and size will allow for him to fend off a lot of clean shots and land his, Vernon is talented, look what he did to Shane, Forrest is far from past it and you will see that come fight night.. 100

Haven't seen the Shane fights

My OCD won't allow me to watch fights that are not in American broadcast, I seriously almost lost my mind when I tried to watch a Sky match.

I did see what he did to Baldomir though. Box, move, ****, combinations, everything. Vernon looks like the complete package.

Piccirillo is a solid pro(48-3). I think he held a belt awhile back. Him and Forrest have the same style i think. The only fights of ive seen of Piccirillos is the spinks and mayorga. He beat spinks, in a close boxing match. Mayorga straight beat his ass, not unlike how he did to forrest.

I really wouldnt be surprised if Piccirillo won, for the right odds i would put money on it.

You might want to get some money ready for it, because I can't imagine the odds are that close to even. Most of the betting public probably hasn't seen a Piccirillo fight. Forrest is also the hot new thing because of what he did to Carlos Baldomir.
