everybody says "straight right" or "right hand". i've noticed that nobody calls the punch a "cross" anymore. not commentators, not journalists, not fighters, not trainers, nobody.
From what I've been taught, the right cross is a punch in of its own. my understanding of the right cross is its a cross between a straight punch and a hook.
I right cross to me, when thrown is a semi-straight punch/hook. does that make sense.
