I always have Leonard winning by a small margin.

IMO :

Leonard was the ring general that night.
Leonard was able to fight the fight he wanted.
Leonard made Hagler miss badly throughout.
Hagler fought the wrong fight....he should have fought lefty from the start.
Haglers body shots werent effective as Leonard was still moving fine in the 12th round.
Leonards punches were hard enough to make Hagler cover up.

Hagler by 2 points is what I had it. I thought he clearly won the fight and I don't blame him for retiring after losing a fight most thought he clearly won.

Man i dont see what the debate is about the only reason people deabte this so much is cause Hagler threw his dummy out the pram cause he could'nt believe he had lost to someone like Leonard ,he really did'nt want to lose to Leonard of all people

everytime i watch the fight i see Leonard winning and that is giving Hagler the benefit of the doubt ,Leonard was just a superior ring technician to Hagler he was almost slapping Hagler about mentally and physically Leonards craft and ring generalship owned Hagler on the night he toyed with Hagler IMO and made him look methodical and slow
