it was a close fight.. i cant really remember it too well.. i just remember sweet pea making him look ****** at times.. oscar was firing that jab.. miss, miss, miss.. it was about even.. no way oscar shouldve gotten the W..

i had sweet pea winning the fight by a round, i thought he did enough to win, he definitely made DLH miss and made him look bad in the ring.

but whatever it's a fight that was close and it was obvious at the time that the money was with DLH so the judging was geared more towards DLH.

during that stretch in oscar's career they called it " Oscar De La Vegas " because he couldn't lose in vegas no matter what, and that fight to me was a no matter what fight.

im sure i could watch the fight a few times a see places where the rounds could've gone either way. but overall i thought pernell won.

Bringing up the dead. One good thing that HBO did after this fight was got Sweet Pea & DLH into the studio to talk about the decision. I think it's still on youtube.
