Floyd fought 154 in his last fight smart guy, read my comment, a fight with Calzaghe at 160 is not that big a stretch.

why not ask who would win between Ali vs leonard, Roy jones vs pacquaio, or Klitchko vs juan diaz....... lets make fights that are even.

Man c'mon. You just look for arguments where there are none. Floyd gets steamrolled by Calzaghe! Good god. Floyd doesn't even belong in 154, I dont' give a **** about the ODH fight.

**** this thread, i would have love to see mayweather fight sugar ray leonard. leonard had amazing handspeed with good power and good footwork and great head movment and could punch all day and wasn't bad on defense and floyd had amazing handspeed and didn't throw as many punches in bunches but had better footwork and a faster upperbody and just as if not more elusive than sugar ray. this fight would have been so good. and, floyd also could fight off of the ropes better and was a better counterpuncher. they both had great left hooks, and fast right hands. leonard seemed to have faster hands but floyd had better timing when he threw his punches. sugar ray had better power than floyd and threw more punches. they both went to the body very well but floy dthrew better head/body combinations than ray did. ray stayed busier than floyd but floyd utilized the ring better imo. ray and floyd bith were pretty much equal when it came to fighting at different angles, but again floyd had a more elusive upperbpdy movement, and threw better counter punches than ray. i mean, floyd threw a counter left hook to gatti's body and then to his head and threw three, count em, threw counter left hooks on gatti. they both went from defense to offense well. they both are master boxers with leonard being the more experienced fighter and floyd being the more methodical fighter. this match would be too hard for me to pick a winner off hand. it would have been an all time great imo. what do you guys think? oh yeah, and who could forget that combo threw against gatti in the 6th round where he threw one of the greatest combos in boxing history imo. he threw a left hook upstairs, followed by a right hook to the body, followed quickly by a left hook to the body and back upstairs and a jab to the body followed qucikly by a straight right hand upstairs, left hook to the body and another right hook to the body to finish it off. it looked slow and fast at the same time, and he changed the speed and power of each punch as he landed them. just pure brilliance and precision from the icon. it looked so beautiful i almost gouged my eyes out because i felt i didn't deserve to watch it but i watch that combo a lot to this very day. leonard threw vicious combos and he could knock you out and his speed left me in awe. this legend was the greatest of his era and is an all time great. i mean, he just made it look so easy in the ring, and he could switch from a boxer to a boxer/brawler at any given moment and threw some of the most beautiful punches i've ever seen in boxing history. he was just too good for his time imo.

Calzaghe wants to move to 175 because there is nothing else to prove at 168, especially after the Kessler fight. If the money was right he could and would make 160
