What fight style makes you want to eat a bullet?Hit

A classical boxer who stays on the outside and racks up points (Winky, Floyd, etc) or a clincher who tries to wear his opponent down by mauling him (Ruiz, Hatton, etc).

ii have problems with clinchers who are dirty...(hatton-hopkins).... and guys who stay on the defensive and fight going backwards too much...not because i ont appreciate the skill, but i feel its easier to wait on a guy to make the fight and make mistakes so you can capitalize on them...if the fihter mixes it up some times, i dont ahve a problem with him doing this, bt if its all he does, i do think its gay...

But do you think that Ruiz and Hatton KNOW that they are boring fighters?

i would choose both maybe. i mean both styles will get you a win most of the time but as you said at the expense of being bored. Pot-shots do offer some great KO shots but jab 'nd grab can wear a boxer out and lead to an eventual KO. both are boring, but both do work in a lot of cases.

I'd say neither. I hate people who don't throw punches the most.

I mean when people hold and hit, they are keeping busy and usually don't clinch for too long and there's usually action inbtween that so I can deal with it (Though I hate Ruiz). That and I've always loved outboxers, so yeah.

            Neither really.

hatton and john ruiz's hold and grab style is a sorry excuse for boxing. hatton said that he wanted to be in all time great fight with castillio. how in the hell can you do that when you hold and hit on the break all night. i rather see a great boxer like floyd's pop shot style any day than to see hatton or ruiz's style.

Hatton doesn't hit on the break. Hitting on the break is only when the referee says "Break" and is illegal.

For the record I don't think Hatton is the worst offender as a clincher, because he uses clinching to punctuate his attack and break his opponent's rhythm, and he doesn't stand around waiting to be broken up. He works. Ruiz on the other hand does and has done ever since he got starched by Tua.

I don't think Winky or Mayweather are classical outside boxers. And Winky doesn't pot-shot.
