The worst part is, I think Abraham is a VERY good fighter, and he's wasting his prime fighting these guys. At some point you have to test yourself and see if you can hang with the elite. I know he got punished by Miranda and his team is getting him back into the groove, but he's already had two 'comeback' fights (weird to say 'comeback' even though he is undefeated, but it was a brutal fight with Pantera). Time to step up.

Notice how Abraham hasn't fought anyone of note since Miranda broke his jaw......

How could Abraham be the champ if the world recognizes Kelly Pavlik(who beat J.Taylor) as the true middleweight Champ? Arthur Abraham is a contender, not a champion.
you missed the point, the guy has a belt, it might not be in the way we ALL (including myself) would have liked to see him get it but it wasn't his fault Jermain opted to give Bernard the rematch (which I respect him 100% for) and lose that title, he just kept doing what he does and he gained the belt, my post was to somewhat validate him to the people who were ****ting on him, why should he get ****ted on? he beat Edison Miranda before Kelly Pavlik even did it, he may not be an accomplished champion in the sense of him not actually fighting for it but he's still a champion, you can't take that away from him and you can't say neither that he didn't have the ability to win it in a fight, the guy could **** yo I just feel he deserves more respect.. 100

He needs to build his confidende after the Miranda fight.
Hopefull after this one it will be enough.
Otherwise he will probably become another Sven Ottke who just fights at home in Deutschland and earning enought to live comfortably rather than extravagantly.
I doubt he would try for a Miranda re-match at any point.

I don't blame him because the division isn't very deep, and there's no one else to fight. Pavlik and Taylor are out of the question. Miranda moved up to 168. Sturm doesn't want to fight anybody of note. Winky probably wont fight for a while, and I doubt he wants to fight Abraham anyway.

Im so tired of this stuff, guys like Erdei and Abraham fighting the El ****s of boxing, even though they might be really good fighters if they actually faced someone big.

Abraham could at least fight Sabastian Sylvester, whos much better than this guy and is even already a German fighter fighting in Germany. really dont understand how hes NOT fighting Abraham, last time I checked Sylvester has been the highest rated guy by the IBF for a while anyway...

After the Jermain Taylor fight, I believe Kelly Pavlik and Arthur Abraham will fight for a unification of the belts. I think Arthur Abraham has what it takes to beat Pavlik. He is probably the hardest puncher in the division. The only thing which I personally think Abraham lacks is stamina. But then again he has the heart of a true champion which covers for his lack of stamina.
