How did HBO play up Hopkins as more than what he legitimately was? They consistently also said Jones was critiqued for fighting people below his level, but they never said anything about Hopkins that he didn't deserve. Hopkins was never a star until he beat Trinidad, which he did impressively. Then he whooped Oscar De La Hoya ,and moved up to Light Heavy to beat Antonio Tarver. Whether or not you believe HBO made him a "GOD", he's accomplished a LOT in his career.

Anyone with this kind of spotlight them is open for bull**** charges to come in. I'm not saying in these cases they are or aren't, but what exactly started all this. For all we know these drunk bitches started some **** with Floyd. And his x-gf changing her story around doesn't surprise me.
