So you don't agree with the Gatti comparison? I sure as hell don't. The question of whether or not Mayweather goes for the decision or stands his ground is the key to the fight, as I see it.

Hatton isn't Gatti. Anyone who says that, is wrong about that, atleast. hatton has had less wars, so he can rely on backing up if needed, or hurt.. Gatti couldn't. He only knew to come forward, he did just that and got picked apart. I happen to think Hatton loses by TKO.. however, I don't see it being too one-sided. I actually think it's close for the most part, with Mayweather just slowly pulling away and forcing the ref to stop it by the championship rounds. I could be wrong, I just don't see how someone could watch say.. round 12 of Collazo, and assume that if Collazo was replaced by Mayweather, that Hatton would have survived that fight. Like I said, could be wrong.. Doubt it.

Also, as for the comparision.. Hatton has the better defence, faster feet. I see Hatton as a bit better than Gatti in everyway, except the beard and handspeed departments. Though, to the body Hatton is pretty quick. So.. like I said, should be a good fight. COOULD reasonably go either way, I just see this as a better fight for Mayweather.

Hatton has greater handspeed than Gatti.

Floyd will do what he use to do in nearly every fight before the Baldy fight which is box for 3 rounds and then sit down on his punches in the 4th round and go toe to toe. He'll do that for a couple of rounds and then box again for a few rounds and then go for the finish.

I swear some people on these boards act like they have never seen Floyd. What happened before the Baldy fight? Floyd walked Zab down the whole fight and punished him. He may have stopped him if it wasnt for the low blows. He walked Mitchell down the whole fight and stopped him early, he boxed Gatti and went toe to toe with him before stopping him early, he boxed Bruseles and went toe to toe with him before stopping him early, he walked Chop down the whole fight and dropped him twice in his 1st fight at 140, he boxed N'Dou and went toe to toe alot before stopping him early. How come no one ever talks about these fights? Thats 6 straight fights before the Baldy fight in which he was exciting, very offensive, and punished those guys but you all swear he's running. He fights 2 huge guys in Baldy & Oscar but he's a punk for not fighting those guys the same way he fought guys his own size? Yet you same guys think Margarito, Cotto, Williams, and all these other guys are so special because they go toe to toe and stop guys that are usually much much smaller then them. I swear some of you guys are fools

You just cited the infamous 5 bums: N'dou, Sosa, Corley, Bruseles, and Gatti. A string of journeyman and one washed up old warrior (Gatti). Oh well, if you want to extoll the virtues of fighting those guys, then you have no hope of ever breaking through to reality...that is until Floyd is beaten. And, then maybe you'll see the light.
