Vitali is the only one to lose before the bell rang, and the only one to need surgery after his bout.

they were mandatories also. not klitschko's fault, but a mismatch is a mismatch.

a mismatch is partially a fighters (or his camp's) fault for picking weak opposition. hence a mismatch...

When it's your mandatory, fighter has NOTHING to do with it...
Wlad was trying to unify with Maskaev, when King enforced Austin as Wlad's mandatory

If you waited until the end of the year, I would say the biggest mismatches in 2007 were a tie between Mosley-Cotto and Mayweather-Hatton (both Mosley and Mayweather will win by KO in easy fights).

              Allan Green vs. Darrell Woods

Woods was a 26-10 journeyman hot off beating a 16-0 prospect from Colombia named Samuel Miller. The problem with that... Edison Miranda put Miller's boxing skills to shame.

So Woods thought he was hot ****, and tried to knock off Allan Green, and got his ass KO'd, quick.

i'm not blaming the fighters for fighting mandatories, and a mismatch doesn't mean it's a fighter's fault IMO.

i'm simply talking about the matchup, not who is at fault.

therefore, fights like wlad-austin and hopkins-hakkar were terrible mismatches.

lol......if mosley can beat cotto (he probably will not), it will not be easy.

I think you need to watch a lot more fights.
